t-shirt printing
in an effort to remain creative and productive on my days off from college i decided to start my own personal t-shirt printing project. today i went into town to buy a couple of t-shirts and some transfer paper to print with. i chose transfer paper as it's easy to use at home and is a very cheap method of printing as it doesn't use anything more than the ink in your home printer! in order to get the image onto your shirts you need to print a mirror image off onto the transfer paper and then iron it onto the shirt with no water and no steam. it's really easy and only takes half an hour! i'd advise anyone to try it out as it's a very cheap and easy way to personalise garments and i'll definitely be wearing mine in the future. i really want to experiment with different methods of printing and wish to develop my own original prints to use on garments. in the future i would really like to turn this project into a business and explore selling garments i produce online and at local craft fairs.
